Closed Circuit Rebreathers (CCR) are an exciting and different way to explore the watery world. Although basically defined as SCUBA gear, there are definite differences in the way they work with a diver's physiology. Dive Planning, gear set up and decompression planning are just a few of the parameters that are altered. This presentation is an overview of these differences between Open Circuit and Closed Circuit Diving.
