Dive St. Vincent

by Rudy Whitworth

St. Vincent is known as the “Critter Capital of the Caribbean”. It is located near the southern end of the Eastern Caribbean. It is reasonably easy to get to from Puerto Rico. The diver will be greeted by the reefs and the dazzling display of the reef fish and the unique characteristics of St. Vincent can be seen in its muck dives. This is not muck diving by Indonesian standards but St. Vincent produces great bio-diversity and continues to generate new critter finds on a weekly basis. Come to St. Vincent to see the small and diverse critters and dive with the “sharpest-eyed guides” of this very special eco-system.

In the presentation, Rudy will share images of the sea life as well as the specialized fish and critters of St. Vincent. Examples are Pike Blennies, Half Stripe Gobies, Snapping shrimp, Neck crabs, Bulls-eye Lobster, White Nosed Pipefish, seahorses and nudibranchs. Rudy will also talk about the easy diving, long bottom times, the dive operations, as well as the quality of the resort facilities. You can even dive a site from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie.

This is a Digital presentation using ProShow Producer utilizing the Ken Burn’s effect to provide an enhancing movement to the images. Rudy will provide an onsite, entertaining verbal commentary along with the images.
