David Heidemann
Dave Heidemann has been hooked on the underwater world ever since snorkeling in Michigan inland lakes as a kid. Dave immersed himself in underwater photography starting in the mid-1980s. He expanded the depths of his photographic skills once he got SCUBA certified in 2003. Through many years, numerous pieces of equipment, bricks of film, and millions of megabytes, Dave has developed a list of pitfalls to avoid and skills to develop to improve the odds of capturing the beauty of the underwater world to share with family and friends.
Dave’s pictures have graced the walls of a Grand Cayman gallery and a CD album cover. When not diving, Dave is a cornea transplant surgeon.
